Progress on Man High Globaloria Class

Well, we've returned to school and so many meetings!!! We've only had a few minutes here and there to scurry to our rooms to try to get some of our things back in order. Loretta and I have spent some time with our vice principal trying to enroll students in the Globaloria class. So far, we have not been able to get our HSTA students enrolled. Their schedules just have not permitted us to rearrange anything. So, we have compromised. We have included other students in the class who we feel will be interested and have decided that I will stay with her on the evenings she has HSTA and work with those students. At the present time, we have 6 students enrolled, but we are going to shoot for the 10 that we planned for at our workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday. We still have the first week of school in which to recruit some students, so we might make it! I'm still overwhelmed, but I am so busy with "beginning of the year" activities that I don't think it has hit me yet! The scheduling problem with the WVEIS # is currently resolved until a # is assigned. They listed the class as an operating systems class.

Natalie, I am glad that you have six students enrolled. It is really too bad that you couldn't get last years students in the class. Good luck with finding four more students.
