Looking Forward to the Fall . . . With Optimism and Pessimism

As a first year Globaloria participant, I am excited and overwhelmed all at the same time. At the end of the school year last year, I was scheduled to teach the class. Then, during the workshop in July, I was informed that it wasn't scheduled. However, with Loretta's "cheerleading" efforts, we have finally gotten the class into the schedule (at least we think so!).

Now I will be getting ready to plan a year of activities with help from the Globaloria leaders and their website. I really think the students will enjoy learning the program - not only because they get to work on computers, but they will be doing something that has relevance for their future as a career possibility.

I'm looking forward to a year of new experiences and a great deal of studying and research!!!!
