Guest Speaker from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh

As part of the FACS program, we have opportunities to allow our students to investigate many different career fields.  For the first year, I was able to welcome a guest speaker from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh into my classroom.  When Tia contacted me, she questioned me about my schedule and when I spoke of the addition of Globaloria to my schedule, she was excited and spoke to me of the programs their school offers in the field of video and graphic design.  

Tia spent 2 class periods with my Globaloria students and showed them the areas of study available to them at their school.  I was so impressed with her presentation and I think the students enjoyed it too.
