As shown on my blog, it's been awhile since I posted. I have been out of school for most of the past three weeks. My family decided to live in the hospital. First, my little Christopher had what should have been minor surgery and ended up collapsing a lung and developing an infection. Then, my husband had to have surgery a week later and his lung collapsed too. So, it's been just a little stressful. Not to mention my in-laws. . . my father in law is recovering from surgery for cancer and my mother in law is being scheduled for open heart surgery. I just hope I stay healthy!!
So, school has not been my first priority lately with all this. However, I am hoping to get my globaloria students back on track.
They have worked some on paper prototyping in my absence. However, they didn't get as much done as I had hoped. I realize that is is difficult for a substitute to monitor this type of assignment, but it's frustrating for me when I want them to have much more finished.
We actually got to work on some flash today for the first time. But it seemed that as soon as we got the computers out that it was time to put them away. The students were commenting that it seemed we'd just gotten into the room and it was time to go! I just hope that they will be excited as they were when we began our paper prototyping.
I thought the WebEx session today was very good. It helped refresh my memory on all the little things that go into creating buttons and animating. It has been some time since I actually worked with flash and I'm starting to forget some of what I did learn! - Not a good thing!!! :-(
So, I plan to get myself into it with the students and get some things created!!

I think you have way too much on your plate. The class period goes fast. We have 90 minute classes and it seems to go by so quickly. It is because the students are actively engaged and excited about learning. Hang in there I am sure things are going to be better from here on out.
