Thankful for Thanksgiving

The few days prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks are the longest days of a student's and a teacher's life, but they can also be the most enjoyable.  These days are filled with the anticipation of a break from the daily routine of school and classwork, but also there are the holiday activities and lessons that are often incorporated to the school days during this time.  As my Globaloria students and I worked our way through the mini game assignment during the week prior to Thanksgiving break, we used this upcoming week away from school as our incentive to get the steps in the mini game completed.  I have attempted to work through the assignment with them and as a whole, we have been pretty successful.  So, with a  semi-successful and at times stressful journey through the mini game assignment behind us (except for the uploading), we were ready for our break!  Now it's November 29th and we are back to the old grind for 17 more days as one of my Globalorian's informed me today.  So, belated Happy Thanksgiving and here we go again for a few more weeks ...
