Reflections on July 16, 2008

As a participant in the 3 day Globaloria program, I am almost finished with my second day. We have covered quite a bit of information and even though it is very interesting, I'm feeling just a bit overwhelmed. The instruction on flash was very intense and I just hope I can master it well enough to help the students that I will have this fall. After a couple hours of work and instruction, our group (Team 2-EnviroBalance) presented the paper prototype of our game. With a focus on the local area, our game idea is to have the player create a balance between the mining/logging/chemical industry and the tourism industry when it comes to financial, environmental, and economic wellness.
